Zen Hernnandez and Dominic Almelor on "Patrol Ng Pilipino"

Groups of overseas Filipino workers (OFW) have returned home to the Philippines one after the other because of trouble or disaster in countries such as Egypt, Libya, Bahrain, and Japan.

By fleeing, they escaped from threats of danger. But what future lies ahead of them here in the country?

This Tuesday (Mar 29), ABS-CBN Correspondent Zen Hernandez will let us into the different stories of repatriated Filipinos, the “modern-day heroes” of the country because of the millions of dollars in remittances that they send to the country. How will the return of these contemporary heroes affect the country’s economy?

Meanwhile, ABS-CBN Correspondent Dominic Almelor will take us to Taal, Batangas, which is now becoming a famous site for bird-watching due to the many exotic birds that can be found there. While the birds bring in tourists, why are they deemed as pests by residents of Taal?

Watch Patrol ng Pilipino, tonight after Bandila on ABS-CBN.
